I want these so badly!

I always want this Bumbo seat since my early pregnancy. Been eyeing for this seat, surveyed the price of it and pujuk my collegue to buy it for his twin nieces. (Dia uncle kaya, beli gaun rega ratus2 untuk anak sedara so dia beli dua seats pun tak pa. ;p) The price is quite pricey (for me) so i just on hold it as lil Nasuha bukannya lahir-lahir boley duduk terus. Besides, the awards won by Bumbo seat are not convincing enough for mommy macam saya, (or grandpa yang tengah jaga Nasuha tuuuu) Haha. But after Dr. Harlina kata it is safe and her baby pun boley pakai, apa lagi, terus carik lilac Bumbo seat. Found one and only lilac seat at one of baby site and on sale with the tray, tapi bila nak bayar hari ni, out of stock daaaaaaaa! And mostly stores in Penang don't have this color, only aqua color. Nak salahkan siapa pun tak tahu sekarang. Grrrr!!! Serious grrrrrr!

Dah imagine nak suap Nasuha dalam ni sebab she lovesss to sit with us during dinner time. Huuuu. We've try this Bumbo chair and sit Nasuha in there, and she kinda like it! (actually Mama Suha loves it, Suha duduk situ buat muka blurrr je pun). Haha.

Ok, this is the second item in the wishlist. It comes in two sizes, for babies (3mths-3.5 years old) and toddlers. (8 mths-4y) This is more to necessity la sebab we don't have carrier and we need it (or at least, I need it). End of February nak bawak Nasuha balik Sarawak, and we'll be travelling without Babah dia, takkan I nak bawak stroller sorang2 naik flight. Heeeeee.

I'm glad that i came across this. (Shared by Puan Shida from MLO). Then I cepat-cepat convince Kekasyfi Hati to choose the right carrier for lil Nasuha (mostly because it is PURPLE. Heuheu).

Lil Nasuha updates at her 4 months.

Little Nasuha is now 4 months plus. Berat 4months sampai sekarang belum check, mama and babah asik busy aje. Pity her and I know she really hates it when mama or babah switched on lappy dekat rumah and buat kerja. Hahaha. I might say my girl is not as big as other babies in her age. She's born quite big, 3.6kg, but her weight gain after her birth is just a small number. She's only 4.3kg at her 2 months and 4.8kg at her 3 months. Still I'm thankful that she's healthy and super active!! Masa dalam pantang dah sibuk mengiring bila pakai pampers, 2 months 1 week dah sibuk nak meniarap. Sekarang ni lagi la, kalau lepas mandi tu nak pakaikan pampers je sampai setengah jam! Tu tak masuk bergaduh dengan dia lagi sebab asyik angkat badan and bontot. Crawling belum lagi la, sebab she cant lift up her tummy! Ngeh ngeh ngeh. Perut besau cam babah.

Tengok air liur tu haaaa!

O yeah, she got her ears from her mama. tinge mickey. Hahaha

Merajuk pasal aper ntah.

Captured yesterday. Teman mama jogging. Mama baru turun 30kg, and want to shed another 10kilos. Tamak, Tamak.

Oh ye, carpet bulu bertukar jadi carpet getah sebab nasuha suka hisap carpet bulu-bulu. Die ingat nipple mama ke ape ntah panjang2 mcm tu.

I'm glad she is a happy baby, (a for now, and harap sampai bila2). She could recognize her mama and babah, her Nenek and people around. Suka senyum and gelak kat orang even tengah ngantuk. CNY haritu bawak balik Johor nad main with her cousins. Suka sungguh bila ada orang layan. Lovessssss mirror, kalau nangis muka buruk bawak depan cermin, terus malu sendiri and tukar reaction muka, buat2 vain! I discovered that she didn’t really like camera, unless mama die yang capture. So I got to trick her by putting a mirror depan kami berdua, and babah can capture us together nicely nicely. Harharhar, bijak x mama ni Nasuha?

At her 4 months, she really keen on food. No, no I didn’t give her solid food yet..But everytime we had our dinner, dia nak jugak duduk sama dekat meja makan. There's one time I served Kekasyfi Hati a plate of food, Nasuha yang duduk dengan babah die that time terus bersinar-sinar matanya sambil meleleh-leleh air liur keluar.. Tangan pulak nak pegang sudu garpu aje…Ok, she got that from her mama, Pencinta Makanan!

Orite, Enough la dulu. Banyak lagi nak cerita sampai esok tak habis rasanya, tapi Mama Suha nak ke pasar beli ikan.

This explains why my blog has been abandoned for a longggg time since i started working.

My daily routine, workdays:

5.00 am: Woke up, Session 1 Pumping
6.00 am: Subuh Prayer and direct feed to lil Nasuha
7.30 am: Take a bath, start preparing for works. Sometimes start working at home, check emails, doing some updates.
8.00 am: Direct feed her again if she awakes.
8.45 am: Reach office, breakfast in cubical and start working.
11.30 am: Session 2 Pumping
12.00 noon: Lunch and then continue working
5.00 pm: Perform Asar prayer and Session 3 Pumping
6.30 pm: Back home and direct feed Nasuha
7.00 pm: Bath, Perform Maghrib and start cooking for dinner
8.30 pm: Direct feed Nasuha again
9.00 pm: Dinner time
10.00 pm: Direct feed Nasuha, again and continue office work. (Pathetic, I know.)
12.00 midnight: Direct feed till she asleep, and myself, either sleep or continue working.

This only applies when i'm working in KM, sometimes when they required me to work in Penang, pukul 9 malam baru sampai rumah. Lagi pathetic.

A lot to be shared, but i just couldn't manage my time to do it so. Till then. Sekian, Kamsahamida~

Confinement aka Berpantang Part 1

During my pregnancy, i was ballooned up from 48kg up to 85kg!!! That was almost 40 kilos i naik. Gila banyak, sah-sah obessed. So much damaged dekat my body and need to be repaired during my confinement. My mum sangat risau takut i tak boley kurus balik, so macam2 pantang larang die buat and macam2 ubatan die suruh i telan. I had my first 10 days confinement with my mum while the rest with my mum in law sebab my mum kena balik kuching uruskan bisnes.Basically, these are the amalan-amalan that i've done during my pantang, i crita pengalaman with my own umi and my mak in law k.

1. Makan

Umi: Kalau dekat sarawak, memang makanan time pantang is ayam kacang ma, ikan bilis ditumbuk dengan halia, ikan stim dengan red dates, sup ayam. Itu sahaja, xboley menda lain. Sayur pon certain spesis je boley dimakan. Nasik memang x leh bertambah, kalau nak, ratah lauk je. Buah-buahan lak boley makan epal sahaja. Makan kena tepat pada waktunya, kul 9pg, 12 tgh hr dengan 6ptg. Wajib pakai bengkung sblm makan, kalau tak, xley makan.

Mak: Dengan mak pulak lain sikit. Mula-mula die x kasi makan ayam dlu, so lauk mkn adalah ikan stim, ikan black pepper, sayur macam-macam, cendawan, tempe, tauhu dan sebagainya. I tot orang jawa bagi makan ikan kering or ikan bilis je, rupanya mak nye pantang xde la teruk sangat. Nasik die suruh makan lebih sebab kesiankan i penat breastfeeding, kalau boley pagi pon die nak suruh makan nasik. Hehe. Tp sebab i pakai bengkung, so nak makan bertambah pun tak larat sebab rasa kenyang je sentiasa.

2. Minum

Umi: Sebelum i bukak mata lagi ubat periuk dah siap dipanaskan untuk i minum. Sekali kena minum sampai 3 gelas paling kurang. Gelas besaaar ye, bukan cawan. Euw, kurg sedap. Ubat periuk hasil tangan orang jawa kat pontian, mak yang bawakan aritu. Tak tahu camne nak describe rasa die, rasa air tanah kot. I ngelat so letak madu setiap kali minum. Haha.

Mak: Minum jamu jawa dengan madu bersama perahan limau setiap hari. Segelas kecik sehari, tapi kalau lebih pun boley. Sedaaap! Tapi air rebusan akar2 yang versi paket nye langsung tak sedap diminum. Minum time makan tgh hari. Yucks yucks, sungguh pahit!

3. Mandi

Umi: Kalau boley memang die tak bagi mandi langsung waima hot shower skalipun. Kalau lama sikit dalam toiley die bising suh cepat kluar. I kadang2 curi mandi kejap time tukar pad or time beyak. Huehue.

Mak: Tiap kali nak mandi die rebus air mandian. Time kat kulim dulu mandi air rebusan limau, serai, daun pandan. Dah dekat pontian ni mandi air daun macam-macam yang i tak kenal. Campur jugak dengan uncang mandian yang mak beli kat langkawi, uncang mandian hiraq dan nona roguy.

4. Bertungku

umi: Dia tungkukan saya dekat bahagian-bahagian badan. Seluruh badan kena sapu dengan minyak royan or minyak barut. Setiap kali badan kena air, wajib sapu minyak tu balik kat badan. Bertungku pagi dan petang. Semua kat bahagian2 urat saraf die tungkukan.

Mak: Batu tungku dibalutnya dengan daun2 pandan kunyit dan sebagainya. Menungku diri sendiri sebelah petang sahaja. Kul 5 je mak hantarkan batu tungku yang panas2 dekat bilik.

5. Bertapal

ni kata org sarawak. Kalau kat smenanjung panggil ape ek? Berbarut ke?

Umi: Tiap hari wajib bertapal. Kalau die jaga sampai hari ke 44, memang tiap hari die tapalkan agaknye. Time belum discharge pakai barut herba keluaran HPA dlu. Dah dirumah, hambik kau. Halia bara, temulawak diblend, dicampur dengan kapur, perahan limau dan herba tapal dari indon. Pastu disapu kat perut time kita baring then perut diikat dengan bengkung. Kotor bilik air pastu. Huhu. Umi ikatkan bengkung di badan, super ketat sampai nak bangun pun payah.

Mak: 3 hari pertama je dia suruh sapu kapur dengan limau tu. Hari selebihnya pakai krim barut nona roguy je. I je ngade2 letak param bersama minyak kelapa dara kat perut sebelum pakai bengkung. Apa motif pun tak tahu. Bengkung ikat sendiri. Mak ade sediakan bengkung 7m tu, tp x reti la nak pakai. Dh ikat kat tingkap tp still kurg ketat di badan.

6. Berkaser dan berpilis

umi: Wajib letak setiap hari. Seluruh badan kena sapu dengan param tue. Sampai ke muka pon macam tepung dah.

Mak: Pilis diwajibkan pakai. Die kata 'jgn jd mcm mak, malas nak pakai pilis, dah tua-tua ni effecnya. Senang pening, migrain bagai'. Ok mak, saya pakai.

7. Berurut

penting okayyyy berurut ni! Dulu sblm pregnant, sy x suka dimassage. Geli. Lps tu time preggy yang sarat, kekasyfi hati dipaksa mengurut sy, kalau x urut, payah nak tdo. Time confinement br sibuk nak carik org yg boley mengurut org lps bersalin. Jumpe la akak sorg ni, best gila die urut. Lps mengurut baru nampak perut makin kempis, kaki x bengkak, betis makin kurus. Haha perasan. Tp serius, lepas 3 kali urut nampak gila beza nya kat badan sendiri. Ngeh ngeh.

Amalan lain:

Kesan hitam2 kulit mati (melanin) di leher, celah paha, celah betis dan ketiak antara damage yang berlaku di badan saya semasa preggy. Mula2 dlu mmg xley trime, siap sental sluruh badan guna berus sabut tp x hilang2. Ketiak la paling sayang sebab penat jaga xmau shave selama ni sbb tkt ketiak hitam, skrg tgk time pregnant ko pluck ke, veet ke camne pon still itam jugak. Org kata time pantang die ilang sendiri, tp x brani amik risiko dgn x buat ape2. Sayang badan sendiri u! Sy guna minyak kelapa dara sapu kat bahagian badan tu and letak ubat gigi cengkudu. Alhamdulillah kwsn damage tu mula mencerah. Virgin coconut oil tu kalau boley sapu trus sluruh badan, kulit mmg nmpak lebih halus, cerah, tegang dan gebu2. Lulur mandi pon kne buat bile dah masuk hari 20 ke atas. Nak cantik bukan senang oi. Tapi demi laki kita, buat aje la. Seriously time pantang la masa sesuai utk cantikkan diri sbb suami xley nak dekat dgn kita. Kalau hari2 biasa badan pon berbau minyak kelapa dara tu kompeeem Kekasyfi Hati komplennn!

Pantang larang yang lain:

1. Kalau nampak cuaca mendung, cepat2 tutup pintu tingkap. Angin jahat kata umi.

2. Jalan kena slow-slow, nanti luka koyak lg, kne jahit lagi sekali. Mak kata saya berjalan tak macam org baru lps beranak. Huehue.

3. Pakai stokin, nanti sejuk.

4. Jangan potong kuku semasa dlm hari, takut bentan, kata mak. Kalau nak potong jugak, sehari satu jari je boley.

5. Jangan buat kerja rumah sampai 100 hari, kata mak. Biar bersepah rumah, peranakan perempuan tu kena jaga.

6. Jgn ngade2 nak pakai losyen wangi2 ke, krim muka ke, serum ke, make up ke ape time pantang ni. Biar berlumur dengan rempah ratus, badan berbau minyak akar kayu, nanti cantik di kemudian hari- ni pesan umi saya.

7. Jgn minum banyak air, nanti urat kembang, badan pon kembang.

8. Jangan mls pkai bra, nnti breast jatuh.

9. Ikut je ape orang kata, even tak setuju. Kena redhaaa aje. Huhu.

10. Badan kita suami kita nak pakai lama, so kalau nak awet muda, pantang la minum ais sampai 100 hari.

Ni version part 1, sebab last saya timbang berat 62kg, baru 23kg ilang. Ade lagi 17kg nak diturun kalo nak kurus keding cm lisa surihani, or 7kg aje kalo nk hot macam Kim Kardashian. Sekarang tak sure berapa sbb takut nak naik atas penimbang. Kekasyfi hati pon bg masa 6 bulan untuk kuruskan badan balik, kalau tak die nak kawen ngan julia woon blogger boy tu. Tengok la, kalau berjaya turun banyak kilo lagi saya sambung post ni taun dpn. Haha.

A surprise from Kekasyfi Hati. Tak sangka die sempat mencatat pengalaman ni sambil menemani I dalam labour room aritu. Even tak habis tulis ketika di dalam tu sebab critical mode sudah ON, dia sambung lagi lepas tu and sudah cukup mengharukan saya. Note: My husband bukan jenis yang romantik ye, langsung tidak. Birthday I ke ape ke xde nye nak surprise ke plan ke adiah ke.. So bila die buat catatan ni, sy terlebih terharu pulak. ;p Maafkan die kalau susunan ayat tunggang langgang, tatabahasa entah ke mana. ~~Biasa la BM time SPM dapat B, kan dear?~~ Haha.

Catatan ini dari wad bersalin. (Serius)

Bagi aku hari ini sgt panjang, bagaimana pula bg seorg ibu. Kawan2 mula memberikan komen mereka mengharapkan yang terbaik terima kasih; ely, mad zain dan len2. Induce pada pg td jam 8. Bukaan br 2 cm, jam 1.30 ptg br 4cm ada lg 6 jam lg untuk bukak 10cm kata doktor.

Org sebelah td dh msk OR utk c sec. Eppa bleh tahan lg katanya. Mula terfikir dalam kepala time nk men nk seronok sama2, time cmnie kenapa sorg jer yg tanggung? Maybe mende cmnie slalu ada dlm kepala ibu2 di sana. Tgk monitor HR baby mcm tgk saham plak kjp naik kjp turun.

Jam br kul 4, uik lamenyer. Selalunya waktu nie maybe aku masih dlm cubicle dah stat nk borak2 before start balik kje. Bkn balik kje tp kembali bekerja.

Sesekali contraction dtg, dpt dilihat mcm mnr die mengeletar badan menahan sakit, tgnku digengam erat, mengigil biibir seolah mahu bertutur. Aku pernah tgk keadaan mcm nie tp tue time arwah nenek aku nk meninggal. Mcm peristiwa saat akhir hidup. Smpi begitu skali tatkala contraction dtg air mata berlinangan seluruh badan mengigil. ape yg aku bleh wat just bg tgn utk digengam olehnya. Dari skala 10 mungkin dh 6 aku rasa. Aku rase ulang blk ayat td.

Keadaan tenang seketika kecuali bunyi HR baby. Time nie aku wat2 bz mcm aku lah doktor. Saja nk wat bini yang tgh sakit lupe kjp yg die sakit. Dia senyum, tp senyum dlm perit rase nye. Dalam kepala nurse mesti ada signboard penyibuk kt ats kpla nie..haha. Nasib ko lah nurse. Time xda contraction eppa lelap kjp, aku pon sama lelap lh kjp. Ngantuk mlm td berjaga kjp.

Tgk jam br stgh jam rupenye. Lame nye hari nie. Solat asar kjp. Pe2 hal, xper nurse tue bleh dipercaya. Dalam solat aku doa mcm2 permudahkanlah segalanya, tp np lame sgt kene tanggung skt nie, bisik otak busuk aku, nie bkn mudah nie payah. Nape tuhan xmau permudahkn np xmau tolong np x makbul doa masa nie. Astaghfirullah, lantas sebelum syaiton mula membisik kata2nya, hati berkata "sapa aku nk tentukan ini bkn yg terbaik, mungkin ini adalah yang terbaik utk eppa, mana aku tahu btl x? Mana tahu kalo senang sgt lahir baby xhidup ker ada masalah ker, xpon masa depan nnti akan ada prob len. Aku bkn tuhan, ini bantuanNya ini adalah yang terbaik utk baby dan eppa..semoga dipermudahkan segalanya Amin...

Ape2 hal aku msk blk wad. Dah jam 7 br 5 cm bukak, eppa nmpk mcm dh x larat, muka pucat tgn berpeluh. Plan C perlu, detik hatiku. dah lama sgt nie aku rasa. G wat air kurma jap lecek kurma ngan air zam2. Curi2 msk bg kt eppa. Dh dkt sehari lepas lempeng mc D pg td. Masih bleh gelak-gelak tp aku ragu2. Masa sakit pon nk layan aku gak. Doktor msk check bukaan dh bape, xbyk pon slow progress. Dh immune ngan ubat induce tu aku rasa.

Masa labour..(mode red alert) jam 9 lebih. Merah muka mcm br lepas kene lempang doblas kali. Adrenalin dlm bdn meningkt dgn byknye, nervous seram sejuk. Otot keras mcm roh dah kt ujung tanduk, Urat menjerkah mcm akar kayu pokok bakau. Nafas dalam2 mcm nk lemas. Sakit mcm????? Aku xdpt nk bayangkan. Air mata bercakap bg pihak lidah takkala itu aku rasa. Penat sakit. Lost for words this moment. Kali nie graph contraction dh mcm2 bentuk, selang 5 min, every time dtg contraction, eppa mengenggam, nurse kate mcm dh dekat. Kalo bleh push, push kuat2 sync skali dgn contranction tue.

Dr chang dtg tgk, eppa is ok dia kata. Like hell i would say ok! I asked him everythinglah this time. "She is doing fine this time, quite slow at 1st but she already catch up. Dia gantung 2-2 kaki eppa kat penggantung sebelah katil. And suruh tarik handler tu time push instead of pegang tgn aku.

Jam 10 sekarang, dr said, "it's the time!!! She need to do her work 1st b4 hand.", Masa nie drh dh byk kt bawah tue, nurse suh push kalo ada rase, dear push skali taw, aku try ajar eppa mcmlah aku ada pengalaman, eppa wat xtaw dh kali nie. Tapi die tak menjerit-jerit mcm org sbelah td.

Ok time push sampai, "dear push dear mcm berak, ppush!!!! Cpt fokus!!!" Ngan aku2 skali push. Argh time nielah aku sakit perutlah nk kencinglah mcm2lah. Hangin btollah. Time2 push tue aku ada push angin skali terlepas kt punggung, ada bunyi plak tue, protttt! Tp xda sapa berani sebut sebab nurse ngan doktor tgh kalut. hahaaaha.. Lawak pulak bler pikirkn kembali.

Nurse ckp ok dh nk nmpk dh. Aku try tgk time nie masa push dh nk abis. Ok rmbut dh nmpk. Darah jgn cite lah. Dr chang dh ready. This time now or nothing. Push dear skang graph cecah seratus. Aku nmpak dh. Dr suh push smbil die amek jarum, time push dtg die cpt suntik skit. Eppa konfirm xrasV e, sakit push tue lg sakit. This time gunting plak, time push die gunting cpt dinding vagina. Trust me, it's disturbing to take a look at it! Aku kemutkan punggung time tgk nie mcm aku punye kene gunting. Seriusly bayangkan kt sebelah antara vagina dgn lubang bontot tue terasa bilah gunting tgh hiris daging korg seraya tue darah terpancut smbil daging terkoyak sendiri akibat tolakan bayi tue..uishhh time type nie aku masih terbayang smbil mengemut punggung.. Aku sayang bini aku oi!!!! Darah menyembur dr tmpt gunting tue, tp bukaan dh besar. "Doktor, can you use vacuum, I dah tak larat, no energy". eppa ckp. Vakum kene gune sbb dh xlarat push. Last push, masa nie alat kecik dimskkn utk sedut rambut, bkn rambut tp kepala nasuha. Aku tgk time nie smbil suh eppa fokus. Final push, jgn ada bunyi eppa push and dr tarik alat td. Aku nmpk kepala, badan dan kaki. Nasuha dh kuar, suara baby, aku kelu seketika. Kucup dahi wife. Time nie kalo lagu raihan jd ost mesti best.

Thing not finish yet, Doktor suh aku potong tali pusat, wut an honour. Baca selawat bismillah then aku potong. Maka lahirlah baby Suha ku ke dunia. Aku rush ke bilik amek air zam2 dilecek kurma, nie penting sbb mknn 1st baby kalo x susu ibu mesti kurma makanan nabi. Effect lepas lahir nanti kurang % kene kuning. Alhamdulillah setakat ni Nasuha tak de kena kuning. Azan dan iqamatkan Nasuha.

Blom settle lagi. Kali nie kene teman eppa. Masih kt atas katil tmpt td nak kene jahit. Uri td tertinggal then doktor kene cekut skit2, bayangkan skit labour td xabis lg ditambah blk sakit kene cekut. Cekut tue cmner agaknye? Nk cite die mcm nie, doktor punye tgn tue kene seluk dlm rahim then tarik skit2, aku tgk live aku x bohong kalian. Time tarik tue sakit mcm labour td. Aku raselah. Aku suh eppa fokus sambil tahan nafas. Sepanjang 20 min tue aku bleh tolong wat die fokus jer. Ape aku boleh wat selain dr tue??? Xda.

Umi tgh take care Suha dekat luar dengan nurse. Time jahit plak jam dh nak dekat kul 12, Doktor wat kemas tali jahitan. Aku tgk start dr 1st cangkuk yg Doktor tarik dgn tali smpi last die ikat. Time tarik darah menitik kt tali protein tue. Berbekalkan cahaya wad bedah luka td dijahit, jelujur halus aku rase. Rapat xnmpk tali tue. Sikit2 daging koyak tue merapat.

Eppa aku tgk dh tertdo gamaknye. Jam 2pg takut ku pejamkn mata mengenang kembali detik td seraya melihat dia yang sedang tdo di sebelah kepenatan, tkt die pergi dahulu sebelum aku. Aku sayang dia, aku sayang wanita di dalam hidupku.

Buat muka cam anak burung kalo nk mintak susu mama.

Check up at gynae. Sepatutnya pagi-pagi dah kena g check up tapi pegi open house dulu sebab takut kena tahan. Petang baru check up, and mula-mula doctor suruh tunggu another week before induce. That was BEFORE dia buat scan. So after scanning, the expected weight of the baby is already 3.93kg, so dia pon tukar fikiran and kata, "I think we need to induce you awal, kalau tunggu lagi lama, baby akan jadi lagi besar. Tomorrow you datang pukul 9 ok, terus check in dekat level atas."

12 September 2011

9.30 am: Had a light breakfast, and Kekasyfi Hati and my mum send me to the clinic. Doctor suruh masuk dalam labour room, and check bukaan. Woo, first time kne seluk, and rasa nak tendang doktor ngan nurse kat situ. "dont worry, doctor very gentle, doctor very gentle and i'll do it fast" tu ayat doktor pujuk tue. Masih 0 cm lagi, so Dr masukkan ubat bagi lembutkan vagina. Then dia suruh rehat dekat bilik, makan-makan macam biasa and tengok tv memanjang. Nothing happened.

1230pm: Nurse dtg check CTG, nak tgk ada contraction ke tidak. Dia kata ada, and tp still mild contaction.

6.30 pm: Nurse dtg lagi check CTG lagi. Baby's heartbeat normal.

7.30 pm: Rasa macam ada basah dekat kain, but I thought peluh biasa je. So abaikan, tp start pakai pad untuk kepastian. Solat maghrib, mengaji and tunggu masa nak solat Isyak.

8.30 pm: Masuk waktu Isyak untuk kawasan Kulim, I dah nak solat then Kekasyfi Hati suruh check pad, mana taw kalau ada lagi air keluar, so takut terbatal wudhu'nya. I checked and nampak dah turun air and darah sekali. Panic jap, wahaha. Called mak and umi bagitaw, panggil nurse she just asked me to calm down, sbb tu semua normal. Huhu. I even asked her, akan kena check bukaan lagi ke? (Huhu, sakittt, tak suka!) Nasib baik die kata, tak, doctor takkan check selalu. Selamat.

10.00 pm: Dr datang buat round check up, and dia kata tunggu besok pagi baru masuk labour room. Contraction xda rasa lagi and I asked him lagi, tak perlu check bukaan kan? Nasib baik dia x check and he said, it's not good to check selalu, nanti kuman, kena jangkitan pulak. He expected me to give birth petang hari Selasa. Ok, fine. Tidur macam biasa.

12 mlm: Check CTG. Graph tunjuk ada contraction, tp alhamdulillah, saya tak rasa sakit lagi.

13 September 2011

6.00 am: Bangun awal, mandi and solat Subuh. Lapar sangat so Kekasyfi Hati belikan Mc'D Breakfast. Pancake and Sausage Mc' Muffin. Tapi tepat-tepat habiskan pancake and minum the setengah cawan, nurse panggil suruh masuk labour room. Ingatkan nanti boleh sambung makan, haha.

7.30 am: Nurse suruh kencing siap and tukar baju labour. Duduk atas tue, and tunggu doktor datang.

7.55 am: Doktor sampai dengan pakai baju tidurnya, (haha klinik die, sukati la die nk pakai mcm mne) and check bukaan. Oh, sudah bukak 2cm. So die pecahkan waterbag and tu diaaaaa, mencurah-curah air keluar. Baby dah berak sikit dalam perut, but he said, it's okay, still boley bersalin normal. Confident je Dr Chang neh..

Doctor masukkan pitocin, untuk kuatkan contraction. Duduk terbaring atas tu je, sampai tertidur-tidur. Contraction tak rasa lagi, even dekat CTG machine tu dah detect. Nurse tnye, tak rasa sakit ape ke, die pelik kenapa la tak rasa ape sedangkan dekat machine detect bukan main lagi.

11.00 am: Nurse check bukaan, baru 3 cm. Lambat nye bukaan nak bukak, sebab tak de rasa sakit, that's y bukaan tak bukak. Lapar gila dah, tp tak boley makan apa pun, minum air kosong je boley. Air glukose pon tak boley.. Waaaaaa.

2.00 pm: Doktor datang, check bukaan baru 4 cm. Die tanya, "you tak rasa sakit ke" I just jawab belum lagi. Die suruh amik jugak one shot of ape ntah, suruh I tidur. Bagi rehat katanya, sebab kalau I tak rehat, nanti stress, and bukaan akan jadi lebih lambat.

Tidur kurang nyenyak sebab nurse kecoh-kecoh nak amik gambar dengan Faezah Elai yang dtg melawat adik iparnye kat room sebelah. Wahaha, sempat pulak haku terjaga and dengar mereka bergosip.

4.00 pm: Terjaga sebab contraction semakin lama semakin kuat. Memang sakit tahap menggigil and air mata keluar. Kekasyfi Hati pulak yang risau sebab die kata macam tengok org tgh mengadap sakaratul maut. Dia bacakan doa-doa, surah-surah, tangan die pulak yang sejuk and I sempat tnye, "eh, kenapa tangan dear sejuk?" huhuhu. Nurse check, masih 4 cm, tak berubah. Kecewa.

5.00 pm: Contraction slow balik. Relax relax je dalam labour room. Tapi perut dah kosong tahap maksima. Tenaga dah xde sebab x makan. Patient yang induce pukul 11 pg tadi dekat labour room sebelah dah kena czer. Semangat nak bersalin normal semakin pudar.

7.00 pm: Energy level super low. Cakap ngan Kekasyfi Hati, kalau sat g doktor check and bukaan xde lagi, boley ke I go for czer? Die kesian and kata, ok boley. Tapi my mum pulak kata suruh bertahan dulu, tengok macam mana.

7.30 pm: Nurse check bukaan lg. Dia kata, baru 5cm. Ya Tuhan. Terus berputus asa dah. She informed the doctor, update and I heard macam dioerg disuruh ready untuk menyembelih daku. So sekarang tunggu doktor datang pulak nak confirm everything.

7.55 pm: Doktor sampai. Dia checked bukaan, and miracle, 7 cm dah! He said, "Ok, I think you can make it! Tunggu lagi ye, sabar sikit lagi. You're strong! Ada gas untuk kurangkan pain you kat sebelah tu, you boley sedut bagi kurangkan rasa sakit." Tapi I refused. Still cabar diri untuk tahan lagi. Saya nak rasa sakit bersalin tu betul-betul, saya nak hapuskan dosa-dosa yang banyak ini.

9.00 pm: Contraction datang lagi. Kali ni setiap 5 minit dapat rasa. Tapi in between the contraction, I sempat terlelap sebab terlalu penat. Sakit gila kat bahagian pinggul tu time contraction.

9.55 pm: Doctor dtg check, baru 8cm tapi dah boley push bila contraction datang and timbul rasa meneran. Sebab the contraction is still 5 min sekali, so I pun push 5 minit sekali. I tanya doctor, can you help me with the vacuum? Dia pon kata, "yes, tapi you must do your part first.. You push sampai kepala nampak, then I can help you"

10.05 pm: Nurse panggil Kekasyfi and tunjuk rambut baby dah nampak. I pon push lagi, push lagi push lagi sampai kepala keluar. Terlelap kejap bila xda contraction, pastu sambung balik. Sempat lagi suruh nurse off acond sebab tetibe rase sejuk. Then doctor vacuum sikit untuk tarik and there, kluar dah my baby.

10.20 pm: Baby Nasuha lahir, doktor suruh Kekasyfi Hati potongkan tali pusat tu. Baca bismillah, selawat and there, terputus dah Nasuha dari tali pusatnya. Kekasyfi Hati terharu, kiss me dekat dahi and said, Tq sayang! Doktor amik baby and letak atas my dada and snap photos of us sekeluarga. Gambar sgt meaningful tapi xley nk publish sebab ada kaki tergantung termasuk dalam gamba. Haha. tak habis lg kje doktor rupanya.

10.30 pm: While baby dibersihkan, mama nya dijahit. Tapi before tu nk keluarkan uri tetibe ade komplikasi. Tali pusat terlalu nipis and lembut and uri melekat kat atas. So doktor pun seluk separuh lengan nak kluarkan segala yang patut. Dah berjaya dikeluarkan, dia masukkan sekali lagi just to make sure tak ada sisa yang tertinggal lagi. Horror nye bunyi, tapi time tu dah tak rasa apa dah pon. Redha je. Kalau kepala doktor masuk dalam rahim pon tak rasa sakit dah kot. Haha.

Uri baby dah tak cantik sebab lekat kat atas. Memang sesuai la pepatah "alang-alang menyeluk pekasam, biar sampai ke pangkal lengan" hambik kau, kena seluk seperti kata pepatah.

11.30 pm: settle aktiviti menjahit, I pon dibersihkan. Tapi kena stay atas tu lg sejam b4 kne pindah masuk bilik sebab takut komplikasi lain. Mama sangat lemah, and baby super lapar sebab tak makan bersama mamanya.

Moment dengan babah nye. Eh, POK nye. Haha. Kekasyfi Hati azan kuat-kuat sampai satu level tu dengar.

Tak mampu nak suakan susu badan as her first food, so I demand Kekasyfi Hati suapkan air zam-zam digaul kurma, before susu formula disumbat masuk. Ni I dah pesan siap-siap sejak pregnant lagi, takut apa-apa jadi dekat saya semasa labour.

12.30 tgh malam: Nurse tolak wheelchair masuk bilik. Singgah tengok nasuha kejap dekat baby's room then baru masuk bilik. Makannnn nasik bersama kacang ma, (16 jam x makan kot!) then tdo. Still lupa diri sendiri dah jadi ibu.

Penat, tapi pengalaman ni memang cukup berharga for both my husband and I and my mum yang nak masuk tp x jd sbb tkt tgk darah memercik. Sangat-sangat indah even sakit. Duduk sangat lama dalam tu, i tak sure how differ it is dengan hospital punya prosedur, memang kalo dah masuk situ x ley kuar2 dah ek? Ke klinik ni je yang buat camtue?

Alhamdulillah, even it was a long labour, tapi Allah still permudahkan segalanya dengan kurangkan sakit yang dialami. Masih boley senyum-senyum and gelak dengan nurse yang jaga di situ. Siap borak pasal income Dr Chang tu, kereta brapa bijik, rumah kat mana, cuti brapa hari setahun, bini keje mana, anak brapa orang and etc2. Dr pon sangat gentle and sanggup bersabar menunggu saya dan tak mahu terburu-buru menyembelih saya. Syukur sangat, sungguh indah pengalaman bersalin anak pertama. Alhamdulillah.

Update cepat-cepat

Sejak ada anak, nak menaip pon tak da masa. Padahal banyak menda nak cerita. Sekarang saya di Pontian, Johor berpantang di rumah mentua. Nasuha pulak jenis baby yang suka bergayut dekat breast, kalau I dodoikan die xnak tido, kalau Paknye (sebut PAK dalam slang utara yang pekat!) dodoikan br die senang tido. Minggu lepas dah terpaksa bagi pacifier, tapi minggu ni die dah bijak nak bezakan pacifier dengan breast mama, so tak sampai 3 second.. terpelanting jauh pacifier tu ditolaknya dengan lidah. Memang buang jauh-jauh la dia buat. Ok, die dah bunyi 'eh, eh..' tu. Taw-taw je mak nye (Sebut MAK dalam slang utara jugak ye, haha) tengah mengumpat die.

Lama dah tak update, tak sempat nak cite pasal raya, tetibe cerita pasal baby pulak. Dah selamat bersalin seminggu yang lepas, hari Selasa, 13 September 2011, 15 Syawal, pukul 10.20 malam. Alhamdulillah, Tuhan kurniakan kami baby girl seberat 3.6kg dan Allah takdirkan saya bersalin secara normal. And she just got her name yesterday, Anis Kaisah an-Nasuha. Panjang sikit sebab kedua belah keluarga suggest nama, and Nasuha is the name given by her both babah and mama. Alhamdulillah, syukur sangat-sangat.

Tak, saya belum bersalin lg.

Sorry for the idle. I've so much to tell tapi tak de masa lak nak menaipnye. This week will be my last week working before 2 months maternity leaves. Tak sabarrr nak cuti!

By the way, during my 36 weeks check up, baby dah pusing kepala ke bawah. Alhamdulillah, and thanks to you guys yang bagi tips bagai. Tq2! So entering the 37 weeks now, let see what will happen at the check up later. Tak tahu pulak kalau kepala baby dah engage ke belum, and i want to know her weight supaya ready mentally and physically untuk berjuang di labor room nanti.

About puasa. I don't have any problem untuk berpuasa even i'm at my third trimester and menunggu hari. Heartburn, dahaga terlampau pun ada, but still boleh tahan lagi. However, sejak Ramadhan 20 haritu, MIL and husband dah larang berpuasa sebab takut tak de energy untuk menge-push bila tiba saat labor tu. I ikutkan saje sebab ada betulnya. Lagipun time puasa aritu baby kurang bergerak and doktor tengok pun risau. Demi baby, terpaksa la tinggalkan puasa and bayar fidyah nanti.

Oh ye, my friend yang skali due dengan I pun dh bersalin. She shared her experience and I pun cuak la jugak dengar. haha. That's all for now. Till i'm writing again. Salam Ramadhan!

Baby saya still songsang. =(

Selasa lepas buat check up 8 bulan dekat gynae. Actually minggu lepas dah kne datang buat, tapi tangguh punya tangguh, minggu ni baru buat.

BP ok, berat naik lagi sampai doktor dengan Kekasyfi bergelak sakan. Air ketuban ok, uri pon dekat atas. Baby pun sihat, berat baby dah 2kg+. Ok la kot, xde besar sangat sebab penat I kurangkan makan dan skip dinner, ~~kadang-kadang2.~~

So gynae scan and told me the bad news. Waaa, baby still x engaged. Kepala masih kat atas lagi. Ruang makin lama makin sempit, doctor bg masa lagi 2 minggu untuk baby pusing. Kalo x mo pusing jugak, kena consider csect la gamaknya. Sob sob.

I texted Umi and she said, time pregnant dengan saya pon saya begitu jugak ketika dalam perut. 8 bulan still songsang. Kalau dulu die bawak g jumpe bidan and ada pusing tapak tangan ke mende ntah kunun untuk bg baby pusing balik. Tapi kalau sekarang die just suruh doa and tawakal je dulu insya allah baby akan pusing sendiri.

Mak pulak call pagi tadi and suruh ikutkan je cakap doktor. Kalau dah memang ditakdirkan untuk c-sect, just go for it la demi keselamatan mama and baby. Jangan memandai nak kluarkan jugak thru normal birth kalo the head position still x berubah. Tapi sementara tu, doa-doa la jugak and banyakkan solat hajat. Tapi it's not advisable untuk pergi mengurut dengan bidan-bidan bagai..

Hmm for me myself, at first rasa sedih la jugak, takut x boley deliver thru normal birth. Lagipun kalo berdepan dengan orang sekeliling yang skeptikal dengan csect ni, payah jugak. Kang org kata kalo x deliver normal ni ade banyak dosa kat husband la, x cukup amalan la time mengandung, berdosa ngan orang tu orang ni.. Mcam2 la.. Sume yang buruk2 la kunun nye. Sabo je la dengan mulut-mulut cenggitu. I googled and found these tips dari orang2 yang pernah mengalami baby songsang dlm kandungan.

Selalu cakap dengan baby suruh die pusing ke position yang betul.
Suluh lampu dekat bahagian ari-ari so that baby reacts with the light and akan pusing ke arah tersebut.
Letak pek ais dekat kepala baby.

Tapi dekat forum mane ntah ade orang share pasal baby songsang ni jugak. Baby die pon songsang and die pon ade jugak suruh baby die pusing kepala ke bawah. So maybe baby die pon ikutkan jugak. At last baby die meninggal dalam perut sebab the baby paksa diri untuk berpusing even ruang dalam perut tu sungguh sempit, and unfortunately baby tu memang bersaiz panjang. So semasa baby try nak pusing tu, tulang die terpatah and caused him to death.

Lepas baca yang tu, I rasa I patut redha je dengan baby position macam mana. Still ade masa lagi until the birth time, normal or c-sect, it's okay for me now. Kang paksa baby pusing jugak, bahaya pulak dekat die. Sekarang kalau nak cakap ngan baby pon I akan cakap dengan specific, "Baby, kalo ade ruang lagi kat dalam perut mama and baby cukup tenaga nak berpusing, baby pusing letak kepala ke bawah ye. " Xmo die paksa diri sangat. Besides, Allah knows the best for us and everything happens, mesti ade hikmahnya.

Confinement oh Confinement

I've been really bloated since I'm pregnant. My weight has increased more than it's supposed to be, almost 30kgs- and still counting. I guess it's in the gene as my cousins yang pregnant pon macam tu jugak, nang dah keturunan Haji Majidi agaknya!

I still haven't finalize my confinement plan yet. Seriously, it's more difficult than planning a wedding. Haha. My initial plan was to have my confinement in Kuching but then the in laws side advised me to avoid flight for new born baby, cause it could risk the health of the baby. (sebab memang dah ada kes at their side). Mak (MIL) willingly to take care of me during my confinement and she has ordered all the jamu(s) from people at the village. Really appreciate that. I think she worries about me gaining too much weight and takut her son nak kawen lain, payah kena buat lagi satu kenduri pulak. Hehe.

Tapi tu la, I never experience how it's like to be in confinement. Sakit nya macam mana, mood nya macam mana..Then when mak yang nak jaga, sampai hati ke nak suruh die picit2 kita, urut2 kita, mintak tolong cucikan baju baby and baju kita, amik itu amik ini kalau kita still sakit2. Tak sampai hati kot nak menyusahkan sampai macam tu sekali. T_T Kalau mak sendiri takpe pulak, xde la segan sangat. =p

Ok, that's one issue. Another thing is the confinement set. Too many choices sampai tak tahu nak beli yang mana. Mak suggest pakai Nona Roguy, while my husband pulak suruh pakai set bersalin Hiraq after dengar talk tu dekat IKIM. Umi pulak suruh pakai set HPA. Amik 3-3 skali boley?

Ok, enough of membebel. I think last-last nanti I just go with the flow. Plan raya nye di Kulim saja tahun ni, kalau tak beranak time puasa la. Kalau dah terberanak awal, raya di Johor, kot. Resepi makanan for confinement dah siap didownload, for Kekasyfi Hati to prepare, in case mak and umi belum touch down ke Kulim.

Yang penting, kena enjoy during confinement. Tak boley stress2, kang meroyan satu hal pulak.

Congratulation PUAN Aida the PinkGoddess!

09072011, it was not only the historical date for Malaysian due to BERSIH, but also a wedding of my best friend, AidathePinkgoddess. Her solemnization was held in the morning of 9th July at her house in Tabuan Laru, and the reception was held in Sarawak Club, in a private and intimate ceremony with close family and friends only.

I witnessed the akad and was crying like a child after she was officially hitched. Teresak-esak sampai boley menimbulkan salah paham agaknya. haha. Being with her since the last 11 years, sharing every little secrets, watching her fall in love with Abu, and finally marrying her dream guy, siapa tak sebak? In this 11 years, many things happened and now she finally found her happiness! Abu if you're reading this, please take care of Aida, just like you take care of yourself. She deserves to be happy and a princess treat, especially from you!

Blame me for not bringing my LX3 back to Kuching to capture the historical moment of my best friend being taken! I borrowed my Mum's camera but the photo quality is just not up to my level, chewah plus I lupa nak transfer before flying back to KL. Taboo! Let's wait for the official photo from Aida je la. But I promised you, she's the most beautiful bride I've ever witnessed, plus her fairy tales deco, what a beautiful wedding!!!

Aida, I'm so happy for you even you'll be moving to KK (seriously sedey!!!), Azza in Kuching and me in Kulim. ;( Mun datang Penang, make sure awak contact saya! Congrats on your wedding, be a good wife and can't wait for the mini you! Giney2 pun, husband is your number 1 priority now.

What's for anniversary?

Our First anniversary is just around the corner. So far, no plan has been made, at least not by me. Kekasyfi Hati lagi la kompom xde, kalo ade tu, memang kena sujud syukur on the spot laaaa! =D

Dulu zaman awal-awal kawen, tak terfikir pun nak preggy in the first year of marriage. So we planned nak pegi kursus kawen yang menarik setiap kali anniversary, ni gara-gara ustaz ape ntah yang macam best je bagi kursus kawen kat area damansara. Konon boley refresh ilmu rumah tangga laaa every year. Dah plan-plan, tiba-tiba I terpreggy pulak dah nama pun rezeki, so kalau I pegi jugak kursus tu, haruslaaa org ingat terlanjur, dengan boyotnye pegi kursus. So, cancel!

Jadi, what's for anniversary? Holiday; xmau sebab another week nanti nak fly jugak dah, masak-masak di rumah and cuddle2 atas katil; tiap minggu kot buat, and last week I dah masak nasik minyak bersama lauk pengantin (feeling pengantin ok!); makan fancy-fancy; hmm tu je kot option left. Tengok wayang definitely NO sbb x larat nak duduk lama-lama dengan perut sebesar ini.

Paling grand pun agaknya check in dekat hotel area Batu Ferringhi yang ada bath tub. Kalau ada budget laaaaa. Haha. Kita tengok la nanti.

7 months pregnancy update

I'm entering third trimester dah. So far alhamdulillah baby okay. Last check up during my 26 weeks, baby dah plus minus 1.4 kg, tapi still songsang lagi. Luckily uri berada kat atas so doctor kata baby still boley pusing pusing lagi. (anyone ada tips untuk suruh kepala baby engaged?) Due date is during raya, 31st Ogos for the last check up, so saya dan suami akan berhari raya di Kulim tahun ini. Sob sob sedey gila. Siapa yang kat utara nanti jemput ye datang ke rumah!

Barang baby, yang mengarut-ngarut je dah beli, termasuk baju baby umur setahun. Haha, melampau mama ni kan? Yang penting macam pampers, cloths bagai, tunggu la nanti baru nak g beli. Rompers ada la jugak beli sikit-sikit, sekarang tengah nak mencarik jumpers. Mahalllll oi! Dah la nak carik kaler purple sume tak de. Oh, lampin baby pon dah beli, tapi both of us tak reti nak melipat lampin tu. Lama gila x menjaga baby, so memang tak hingat laaa step2 origami tu. Last-last try guna kertas and boley la kot, macam betol. Tak tahu la kalo pakaikan dekat baby nanti boley bocor. ;p Cloth diapers KIV lagi sebab mahal jugak. Haha.

My conditions. Hmm, sekarang suffer dengan sakit gusi yang sangat sangat sangat sangat sakit. I thought sebab gigi berlubang sebab rosak ke ape, rupanya sebab gigi bongsu tu tumbuh senget. I did asked the dentist, tengok apa option memandangkan I dah 7 bulan, she just said, kalau cabut memang tak boley, and actually in my case, kena minor surgery dekat gigi bongsu itu. Even surgery tu pon tak boley buat time pregnant, sebab azab sakit nya lebih berganda dari sakit gigi dicabut and need ubat yang extra kuat which will be harmful for my baby and the cost for it pon cecah ribu-ribu jugak. Sekarang ni memang kena banyak bersabar aje sebab tak boley nak buat apa. Anything pon kena buat after giving birth nanti and after kumpul duit. Teheee. Kepada ladies yang dah nak kawen tapi belum pregnant, better check with your dentist cepat-cepat. Jangan ada problem macam I pulak, seksa wei.

Tengok laa, tumbuh senget macam ni, Sakit gilaaaa woi, sedangkan tumbuh biasa pun dah sakit apatah lagi yang senget macam ni.

Oh yes, hari tu masa balik kampung Kekasyfi Hati dekat Johor, my MIL ada buat upacara lenggang perut for me. =D Don't ask me the purpose because I pon tak tahu adat Jawa. Yang I tahu I dimandikan oleh 5 orang makcik, dengan air bunga dari 7 jenis warna, and ada bacaan-bacaan nya. Then semua yang mandikan I tu dapat kain batik sehelai. Selalunya dibuat untuk perempuan yang preggy anak first, kot. Tak sure sangat tapi thanks to MIL sebab susah payah buat macam-macam untuk saya. =)

Johnson's Baby Infant Massage Class

This workshop was held on 22 May, but I only managed to write about it today. I received the email regarding the workshop from Baby Center and immediately register for it, as the registration fee is only MYR 20 per couple. (murah terus register!) The event was held at Evergreen Laurel Hotel at Gurney Drive, on Sunday, 22 May 2011, in collaboration with KPJ Healthcare Berhad.

Sunday morning, otw to Penang.

This workshop basically to teach the parents on the importance of infant massage and the technique of doing so. Up until I joined the workshop, I never knew the important of infant massage to the baby growth.

Thanks Johnson's Baby for the workshop. I've grown up with Baby Johnson's toiletries-shampoo, milkbath, lotion, cream, baby oil, cologne, etc. Even sampai form 4 pon saya still pakai baby cream (slalu org letak kat bontot baby) tapi I letak dekat muka for daily usage cum moisturizer and alhamdullillah, my skin complexion turns to be good. Dah masuk form 5 baru betul-betul guna skin regime seperti Hazeline. =)

Semalam my husband is supposed to receive the deposit and rental fee from our potential tenant. She booked our apartment weeks ago and we have rejected more than 30 other tenants that interested to rent the place. Even busy with our works, we ulang-alik to the apartment to clean and prepare everything untuk keselesaan penyewa itu. Penat gila bersihkan rumah baru especially dengan bawak perut berat2.

We decided to meet on Saturday morning at the place and suddenly that girl's aunt called saying that she has to cancel the booking. My bad for rejecting their offer to pay the booking fee previously (sebab kesian and dieorg belum tgk rumah tu lagi). Kekasyfi Hati was quite angry with that girl, for the last minute cancellation and for the improper way of her telling us, and i was scared he'll burst to anger for the whole weekend. (you'll never know how my husband is when he's angry!)

Luckily, after he calmed down, he told me this,

"Bila tak dapat sesuatu mende, kita dah mengamuk dan marah-marah. Bila difikir balik, dah terlalu banyak dah rezeki Tuhan kurniakan dekat kita selama ni."

Update pasal kereta hari tu, pihak klinik still nak bayar half sahaja even my husband did fight back for me. He told them nak bawak kes ni ke pihak sepatutnya but then that tukang kebun merayu-rayu supaya x panjangkan kes ni, maybe sebab takut die yang kene buang kerja. He willingly pay the other half secara ansuran, but then we only asked RM100 sahaja from him. Kesian la pulak nak mintak full.

Kekasyfi Hati pun dah dapat reward from me for his good anger management. Nasi Lemak super Special prepared by her wife and unlimited kasih sayang. Ngee.

Incident ketika check up di Klinik Desa

I was having my bi-weekly check up at Klinik Desa Sg Ular yesterday when this incident happened. I arrived at 8.15 am and parked my car at the most corner parking space, headed to the waiting room and waiting waiting waiting for my turn. Around 930 am, there was a staff from KK asked a few car owners to move their car as they want to do the grass trimming, but my car was not mentioned to be moved.

Half an hour later, he came again and said, "xxx 9800, cermin kereta sudah pecah…" I was like, "Eh, that's my car." I calmly went to see the damage and then he said, "Nanti pegi Pejabat Kesihatan claim ye." OK fine, I pon sambung tunggu giliran tanpa fikir nak marah or the difficulties to deal with this things. Tak terfikir pun nak call Perodua to ask the estimation cost for repairing this things, and segala yang berkaitan, until I phoned Kekasyfi Hati and he asked me to do so.

So after the check up, I went to picked up my husband at the office and we went together to Pejabat Kesihatan Kulim. I thought we can have the claim on the spot, rupanya kena isi borang aduan, then the person in charge will bring this matters to orang atasan for approval. They will get back to us within a week time.

So today, I received a call from the person in charge and she informed that 'orang atasan' merangkap wakil Klinik Kesihatan Kulim willingly to pay HALF of the repair cost ONLY. Half sajeeeeee ok, kalau total cost MYR 600, another MYR 300 kena bayar sendiri. Lagi tinggi cost, lagi tinggi duit melayang!

Alasan mereka adalah,

Inisatif telah diambil dengan mengarahkan pemilik kenderaan untuk mengalihlan kereta sebelum kejadian. - Yeah, you're right. Kereta lain ade la, my car you x suruh alihkan pon. I ingat lagi time ibu mengandung lain yang tanya, which car and orang tu jawab, yang kaler kelabu. My car kaler putih yeeeeee.

When I told her bout this matters, she said, "Entah laaaa, doktor kata die sanggup bayar half saje, so puan nak terima ke tidak? Kalau tak terima, kena bawak ke mahkamah." WTH.

Sekarang saya tengah pissed off tapi tak tahu la nak redha or nak tuntut balik hak saya. My husband asked me to fight back, and he'll come with me. Tapi entah, pregnant lady nak marah-marah macam ... Hmmmmm, dugaan kot.

Kuching Trip- my Food Diary

I've mentioned earlier that I was back to my hometown for a week of rest and recharge, no? I had a great time with my BFFs and family, and not forgotten, the local cuisine. (Heaven!)

Friday- off for outside food. Masak dekat rumah and stay home for the whole day. Saturday morning, we had our family breakfast at Kopi O Corner. We supposed to have our morning walk at 6am but then sebab tunggu my mum bersiap paling lambat, we directly headed to this breakfast place at 7am. Pukul 7 pun ramai orang and we coincidentally met Aida with her family there. Variety of food served here, and that's what i love the most about Kuching, banyak makanan time breakfast, bukan setakat Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai semata..

Since i bought it just for eating purpose, no occasions, when the salesgirl asked what I want to write for the topping, i was blur. But then my sis answered, " THIS IS MY CAKE, DO NOT EAT IT.", referring to me. T_T

Bebel-ing and PPG's Day Out

I'm six months pregnant now! =) Happy as the baby start kicking dengan kuat and perut nampak cam ombak je. Kekasyfi Hati pon finally dapat rasa the baby kicks on his birthday (1st May). Baby bagi prezzie kat papanye kicking2 and papanye pon so happy with that.

Last week was my appointment with the gynae, doing the monthly scan and doktor janji buat detailed scan, tp x sure jadi ke tidak. But then since I was in Kuching, I postponed it to today. Sekarang I dah siap, tinggal tunggu Kekasyfi Hati to pick me up and meet the baby. (dia tengah dekat office and hp boley tertinggal kat rumah!) I don’t mind to do the check up alone sebab all this while my check up dekat klinik kerajaan pon I did it alone. It's just that I don’t want Kekasyfi Hati to miss the moment to meet the baby on the monthly scan.

Worklife? Dah tak heavy, sekarang free willy willy ouh.. Tapi, my husband pulak yang cramped time sebab closure date dah dekat. Dia pulak yang stress haha. Haaa, bila la nak merasa dua-dua free neh....

And these photos were taken with my BFFs while I was in Kuching. We hang out for 2 days, 1 whole day lepaking at Miss Azza's office, followed by hi-tea at Sky Café, and another day was lepaking at The Spring-the Spring food court, surau , Sunny Hill and Aida's place. Sembang tak habis kalau dah jumpa mereka. Tak shopping and tak tengok wayang, tapi kluar dr pagi sampai malam. Kalau singgah surau tak sah kalau x sejam. Can you imagine how much and how longgggg have we talked??? Mun isnin ya sik kerja, rasanya sleepover terus dah. =p

Jumpsuits for mommies-to-be

My mum gave me a nice brown jumpsuit to be worn during my pregnancy. I guess she was influenced by the international celebrities who nicely dress up and look super sexy when wearing jumpsuit. I found that jumpsuit is also a replacement of maxi for mommies-to-be daily fashion.

However, since I was bloated and gained so much weight, I didn’t have the confident to wear the jumpsuit. My ass is too big, and my thighs are enormous. I envy those who are pregnant and still petite as ever, except for the baby bump.

Ok, she's not pregnant, but she's petite and has a sexy ass.

Sleepless night in ***

I've been working non stop still midnight for the past 2 weeks. Arrived office at 9am, leave office at 12 midnight, very cinderella! Plus, the machines and software have not been that kind to me, causing a LOT of issues happen and i feel like being ridiculed. Since i can still be considered as newbie to this switching engineering field (was working 2 years in hardware thingy and now i'm working with software), i feel timid and it's very hard to me to voice up my defense. =S

I have no time for myself, no time for my baby. I've skipped my monthly check up at Klinik Kesihatan for 2 months, but today i decided to sneak out from work (mind you, i still need to work even it's weekend) and went for the check up. Surprisingly, my Hb dropped tremendously and i need to be monitored later tomorrow. *sigh* Nurse advised me to get enough sleep, eat proper meals, do not work too hard, and try to overcome my stress. (i can still smile and laugh, so i don't think i'm that stress). Yes, i should get more tranquil and quality sleep, really tired and my hands and legs are swollen like polar bear's paw, everyday!

I know complaining and sighing makes my work effort jadi tak ikhlas, but yes, saya rasa saya kurang ikhlas sekarang, tapi still berharap rezeki dan salary diberkati. Amin!

Tomorrow is my monthly appointment with the gynae, tapi macam kena skip jugak coz my work need to be delivered on Tuesday. =(

Yummy Strawberry Desserts at Strawberry Moment, Cameron Highlands.

I was planning to finish posting all entries on Cameron Trip last week, but due to constraint time at work and malam busy layan laki, semua tertangguh. Ok, mari Continue on Cameron Trip.

Our first pitstop was Avant Chocolate, sebab ade penumpang yang mabuk-mabuk setelah melalui jalan berliku, so singgah mana-mana kedai cantik untuk membeli asam. Tak sangka kedai cantik tu adalah Strawberry Moment café, serving deserts based on fresh Strawberry. Dia pon tanam strawberry sendiri, tapi sebab kami tak sampai puncak lagi, we decided to hold our 'self plucking strawberry moments'.

Self Plucking Strawberry @ Cameron Highlands.

Our weekend was fulfilled with the unplanned trip to Cameron Highlands. The idea was actually Syasta's and suddenly Kekasyfi Hati yang teruja and agree to join the trip. Packing pon last minute, done on the morning itself. Tak booking mana-mana hotel or apartment as we know tempat banyakk kot atas tu, just pilih je nak duduk mana.

The main purpose to climb to Cameron Highlands is to experience the self plucking strawberry. Not mine, actually it was Syasta's as well. Dia yang mengidam, I just go with the flow. *wink*

We browsed through Google, (thanks to iPhonese) looking for the best Strawberry town in farm. From the review, everyone agree to go to BIG RED STRAWBERRY FARM, run by an Indian family, who used to be the worker of BOH Tea Farm. Dari pekerja ladang the dah jadi orang kaya Highlands you!

The vegetables! Salad and butterhead. menyesal tak membeli. T_T

Cheap hydrangea. yg ni Yan nyesal tak beli. Heee.

This farm located on top of SUPER STEEP hill in Brinchang, together with hydrophonic agriculture farm, Cactus Valley and it's café. However, the strawberry of the farm tak cukup jitu, (bak kata abang Bobby) plus mahal-MYR 40 per kg plus strawberry tak banyak, so we decided to go for another one. Perhaps it is a well known farm so ramai dah petik strawberry di situ, kot la. Tapi sayur-sayur memang terbaik and menyesaaaalll nya tak membeli sayuran hijau. ;(

At last, our choice was a humble looking Ladang Strawberry Soon Cheong. Only MYR 25 per kg, berbaloi sebab uncle and aunty siap ajar camne nak pilih strawberry manis and ranum. English basket and gunting also provided demi menjaga tangan-tangan yang ditatang penuh dengan losyen setiap hari itu.

This is my second trip to Cameron, and betul kata orang, kalau nak makan strawberry manis, kena makan fresh from the tree! Kalau dah bawak turun and biar 2 hari, masam dah kot. (Sebab pg td try still manis lagi). Another thing, datang time March, April, May sebab strawberry yang terhasil adalah dari musim panas, so lebih jituuu and manis! =D

Pesta Durian: RM9.90 makan banyak-banyak sampai mana perut boley tahan.

Dengan hanya membayar RM9.90 seorang, orang ramai boleh menikmati seberapa banyak durian pada Pesta Jom Makan Durian anjuran PLUS Expressways Bhd pada 9 dan 10 April ini.

Pengurus Besar Komunikasi Korporat PLUS, Khalilah Mohd Talha berkata, pesta itu akan diadakan di hentian Bukit Gantang arah utara dari 10 pagi hingga 5 petang.

Kanak-kanak bawah tujuh tahun tidak dikenakan bayaran manakala bagi mereka yang hendaklah membeli durian di situ, mereka diberi diskaun 50 peratus, katanya.

Orang ramai juga boleh menyertai pertandingan makan durian, meneka berat dan ulas durian.

Khalilah berkata 10 tan durian dari kawasan Bukit Gantang akan dibawa ke pesta berkenaan yang dianjurkan sejak 2007 sempena musim buah durian di kawasan sekitar Bukit Gantang.

“Ia bertujuan mempromosi buah-buah tempatan di hentian Bukit Gantang sebagai salah satu destinasi penjualan buah-buah tempatan di Lebuhraya PLUS,” katanya.

Mengidam or Mengada?

My husband bukan jenis yang manjakan bini sentiasa. Kalau I cakap I nak kecik hati ka, no way dia nak pujuk. His response was, "humm, drpd dear kecik hati, baik dear kecikkan punggung tu haa.." !$#%$!&@*&*! Terus terkesima tak tahu nak kecik hati ke tidak. Nasib baikkkk la aku jenis x kesah dan berperasaaan kebal weyyyy!

I think, it's good for me as well, kunun boley berdikari laaaa. Baby nanti pun kena tabah, xmo manja-manja. Jangan nak berdrama pulak. Kalau nangis biarkan aje macam Lynette Desperate Housewives latih anak dia. So,sekarang ni, kalau teringin nak makan apa2, or memiliki apa2, I'll give myself minimum 3 days for self soothing.

Kalau lepas 3 hari masih teringat-ingat, and that things susah nak carik , I'll give myself 1 week.

Tapi kalau still lagi teringat-ingat, means memang betol mengidam la tu. Otherwise, mengada aje.

So far, bakso Bangi, burger sebesar muka at Taman Selasih, Daging Salai Harimau Menangis Kepala Batas, Mee Kolok Sarawak, Pelam Harum Manis Perlis, Puding Diraja Pahang, Dabai Sibu, Ayam Pansoh- semua nya kira kategori mengada. Memang teringin, tapi lepas tempoh self soothing tu, ok dah..~

Tapiiiiiiiiiii, these 3 things memang dah berbulan kat dalam fikiran masih teringat-ingat sampai sekarang.

Puding Caramel yang sedap (Aanna: aku x sempat nak buat lg wei.)

Pineapple Fried Rice yang dimasak menggunakan beras basmathi dan dihidangkan dalam nenas.

Even dah makan Nasik Goreng Nenas dekat Golden Triangle last week, still kecewa sebab dia x hidang dalam nenas. =(

We decided to give this place a try after 3 hours 30 minutes suffering lapaaar sebab tunggu kereta habis tinted. Dah dalam pukul 3.30 petang, kedai makan lauk-pauk pon comfirm habis. So the nearest place yang dekat dengan Agard Aircool is this place.

Not bad la for a bumiputera's pizza. Kalau compare dengan dominos, memang la kalah, tapi bila compare ROTI pizza sini dengan Pizza Hut, sorry la pizza hut, Jom Pizza punya roti lebih fluffy. Tapi topping still perlu improvement lagi, just a little bit will do.

Drinks- Special Vanila Ice Blended for me and Mango Rose for him.

Regular size Pizza-MYR 12- Combination of two toppings per chef recommendation. Cant remember the name, but it was quite frustrating. The topping was quite dry and not juicy. Kurang padat. But don’t get me wrong. I've tried other pizza with different topping from Jom Pizza mobile kiosk before, and that was marvelous! Cheese Beef kalau tak silap, tapi memang sedapppppp!

Cheese Baked Bolognaise. Heaven! Nampak cheese leleyh-leleyh tu? This dish memang sedap~ Bolognaise sauce tak overpower the cheese, minced beef are fine and sedap la senang kata.

Nyum nyum. Macam homemade. Terbaiks!

Boley la nak try. Price pon tak mahal, and I don’t think ada service charge was charged on us on that day. They also serve western grills-sirloin steak, lamb chop, chicken chop, and etc. Try la, tak rugi pon.

My Kekasyfi Hati is a big fan of cars. Top Gear and laman sesawang Paultan, have been his favorite since day one of our marriage. Jangan harap boley tukar channel lain kalau ade Top Gear di TV. Even that was not enough for him, sambung pulak di Internet. Lucky him, the US internet server fulfills his dream to watch Top Gear videos which mostly blocked for Msia internet server access. I wonder, why?

He's really keen in cars and wheels, therefore when we went for test drive, he did asked a lot of technical question sampai salesman tak tahu nak jawab apa sebab tak they themselves didn’t really know about the features yang Kekasyfi Hati cakap.

And because of his deep interest, I'm now giving him an assignment to survey the best car for our baby. Not a real car though, just a baby stroller. =)

Survey je la tapi. Beli nye tidak lagi, because I'm still thinking, perlu ke Baby Stroller ek? Seriously, perlu ke?

Maternity Wear- Jeans

I never knew a REAL maternity wear would be this comfy. Since I've been growing my butt to XXXXXL size, (punggung selambak, kata Kekasyfi Hati!) I just wore my last 3 years jeans in the wardrobe, zaman gemuk before Herbalife. The last year jeans size 24-26 dah selamat dilipat masuk dalam bagasi, sebab kalau hang dekat wardrobe rasa pilu sendiri. Over.

Last weekend, the maternity wear hunting mission pun bermula. I've got no problem to find maxi dress and favorite flowy chiffon skirts, because Nichii and Kamdar offer the best. In case ada org tnye, my maxi here in this post is from Nichii. Thanks BFF Aida for the recommendation of Nichii store! =) Tapi bila nak cari jeans, ya allah, susah payah gila nak cari maternity jeans! GAP, Levi's, Guess, FOS, even Jusco and Reject Shop, apesal la satu pon xde? Discrimination against pregnant lady! Penat pusing the whole Queensbay and Aeon Perda nak carik. Dulu zaman 1st trimester, macam ada jumpa tapi memory xley nak recall di mana. Tapi, dalam kekecewaan 2 hari mencari, dapat grab 1 maternity khakis from Jusco. Super comfy and I can fit size S for maternity wear! =D

But still, Anyone yang tahu which store that sell maternity jeans, please please please inform me ya.

Did the monthly checkup last week, and i've gained another 3 kgs. Gosh, every check up i'll gain +3kgs, surely kena with nurse at Klinik Kesihatan this weekend. As long as baby sehat, ok kan?

Ipad is such a phenomenon. Everyone is very excited to have one, and i've been aiming it since it first launched in malaysia last December. I've been thinking of it, and collecting money to have it in my hand.

However, i need a concrete reason to convice myself, why i need one.

Cool? nope, I didn't buy things just to be IN with latest trend.

For blogging? I can always blog thru my lappy or phone, tapi seksa sikit la.

For the sake of my child learning usage? Yes definitely, tp awal lagi kot. I think apple will come out with ipad5 dah time tu.

Ohhh yes, i need one whenever i'm stucked in rain macam 2 days ago. nak masuk rumah xda payung dalam kereta, so tggu la sampai hujan behenti. Nak bukak lappy besau gedabak sangat, browsing thru hp kecik sangat. ok, found one reason, tp x solid.

Erm the most solid reason would be, senang nak bawak ke manat2, macam nak jumpa vendor renovation rumah, boley tunjuk gambar thru ipad, jumpa tailor boley tunjuk design bg lebih clear. x perlu print photo, and save our environment. Kan kan kan?

Tapi after surveying baby stuffs, tak jadi beli ipad la. Mahall gila barang baby zaman sekarang. Tengok rega breast pump lagi, menyamai ipad kot!

Baby, later if you dah besar and read this, tengokkkkkk, ma x beli ipad sebab nak beli barang keperluan kamu!

I think I'll be back with entries. 1st trimester just passed and I'm getting better ~~and fatter~~ by day.

The worst 1st trimester experience would be the last 2 weeks, after I joined some volunteering event that involved rentas desa. Even I tak sampai masuk paya bakau macam orang lain, tapi walking with the sun on top your head dah cukup memeritkan. Balik je dari program tu terus muntah melilah sampai ke pagi. Seriously tiring, tapi cam best la pulak.

Another incident is 2 days after the rentas desa, my left foot terperosok pulak dalam longkang tepi kereta. So I pun jatuh terduduk but luckily my ass has gotten bigger, fatter and much comfier so bila jatuh tu takde la sakit sangat. Bleeding tak da, so I assume semua ok (terpengaruh dengan drama). Insya Allah. Next check up would be on March 19 (my birthday!) at my gynea and March 27 at Klinik Kesihatan.

As for now, there's nothing I could not eat , bagi je, semua I makan. Thanks to my best friend Azza for susah payah brought me Pizza Ria and Jagung Ligo all the way from Sarawak. Muah muah! And the others who always satisfied my appetite needs.

Gigantic me, and this was 3 weeks go. Ada hati nak pakai kebaya, siap terbukak-bukak lagi butang.

Tired? Yes, extremely! And people around me noticed that I always ran out of breath. Jalan sikit tercungap-cungap. Sebab pregnant ke sebab overweight, I don’t want to know. I'm now officially 60kg (yey, gigantic Aifa!), and have started sorting and renewing my wardrobe. No matter how big my size would be, let me enjoy every moment of my pregnancy! =D

Don't worry, I'm still waras, ni costume untuk persalinan pengantin.

EMBRACING IMPERFECTION

When I was a little girl, I could remember, my mom making breakfast and dinner for us.
And I remember one night in particular, when she had made dinner after a long, hard day at work.
On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of vegetables, salad and burned chappati in front of my dad.
I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed'
Yet all my dad did was, to reach for his chappati, smile at mom and ask me how my day was at school.
I don't remember what I told him that night, but, I do remember watching him smear chatani on that chappati and eat every bite?

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad
For burning the chapati.
And I'll never forget what he said.
Baby, I love burnt chapati.
Later that night, I went to kiss daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his chapati burnt.
He wrapped me in his arms and said
Dear , your momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired, And besides, a little burnt chappati never hurt anyone ..
You know life is full of imperfect things and imperfect people.

I am not the best housekeeper or cook.

What I'v learnt over the years
Is that learning to accept each other's faults
And choosing to celebrate each other's difference
Is one of the most important keys
for creating a healthy growing
And lasting relationship.

Hai, hari ini saya sangat free sebab keja minggu ni dah habis. Tahu perasaan kerja dah habis???? Seronokkkk gila! Sampai rasa nak bukak youtube banyak-banyak and balik awal.

Ok fine.

I'm now 10 weeks pregnant. So far morning sickness xde la teruk sangat, more to evening sickness. After 4 pm badan akan rasa super penat and loya loya tekak. Cium bau makanan memang FAILED and kalau nak makan tu potatoes and bukan real meat je dapat ditelan. Perfume sendiri pon boley pakai satu jenis je, sadis!

While for lunch, memang kesian Kekasyfi Hati sebab kena layan wife yang tak boley nak telan makanan berlauk. Ikan ayam semua tak boley. Tapi daging alhamdulillah boley telan lagi. The only time I boley telan everything is during breakfast. Baby sajeee nak suh kami bangun terus lepas Subuh neh…

Sejak pregnant, TAK PERNAH masak untuk Kekasyfi Hati. Pity him! Betol la orang cakap, mende yang kita suka gila-gila dulu mesti Cannot Go after you pregnant. Dapur memang sunyi tak berasap. Isk isk. Nasib baik hasben memahami and mak mentua pon paham. (Coz she always asked us, makan ape hari ni, Eppa masak ke? Teheee)

Oh yes, I make Kekasyfi Hati to shower at least 5 times per day during weekend and 3 times per day during weekdays. Shower gel pon kena pakai Lux tak boley Protex or Dettol. Hidung ni terlalu sensitif sampai bau hasben sendiri pun tak boley tahan. There was a time when Kekasyfi Hati terkentut depan I and I terus berlari ke toilet and muntah sebanyak-banyak nya. Haha, cannot imagine his face during that time. Funny!

Mengidam? IKEA Meatballs berjaya di lahap, together with Tutti Frutti yang masha-allah, sedappppppppppppp nya! Tapi bila sampai Kulim semua meatballs kena muntah dalam toilet. Membazir-membazir! Sekarang teringin nak makan Bakso Pasar Malam Bangi, and Sup abalone with wolfberries. Tunggu la next time ke KL. Oh yes, I'm addicted to SUGAR! Not good, I know.

HOPE I'll pass this 1st trimester soon. Another 2 weeks to go and please pray everything will be fine.

the Gift from Allah

I'm entering my 8th week of pregnancy! Still shocked, even we've figured out bout this 2 weeks ago. Seems my 2012 plan turns to be 2011's, and we're preparing ourselves to be a good parent, Insya Allah.

I never expect I'm going to be a pregnant lady even i was late for my period for about 3 weeks. I thought it was caused by stress or whatever it is. My weight stayed static even i was on strict diet and even went for Pantai Kerachut Hiking, a week before I'm doing the UPT. I even booked for Herbalife set sebab nak kurus! Hohoho.

After waiting and waiting, on 21st January finally i did the UPT and found out the 2 lines. I was confused, and kept checking at the box to confirm it. I told Kekasyfi Hati, and his response was like, "Eh, macam mana boley ter-pregnant nie?" Cesssssss, sabo je lah. Sendiri mau ingat la. Haha

After we went to clinic and confirmed everything, we're more than happy! Syukur Alhamdulillah, the expected delivery date would be on 14th September. Baby, baby, please keluar after raya k. Mama nak beraya dulu nak makan banyak-banyak sebelum confinement.

I've no idea on pregnancy thingy. Zero knowledge. Tak ada kursus pra-kehamilan ke macam dieorg buat utk kawen ke? Please pray for me. Hope everything goes well. Aammin.

The Road not Taken, just Gamble your life.

I woke up this morning with some arbitrary thoughts.

You know, most of us have been staying in our comfort zone for a long time. Well, I am. Since we’re young, we were sent to school, and forced to study hard to excel in examinations. UPSR, PMR and SPM, we strived for it and continued our study to the next level, matriculation. Then, we pursued studies to university, obtained a scholarship and after graduated, worked in a well known company, earned big money, bayar hutang kereta, get married, compete with colleague, earn bigger money, bayar hutang rumah, struggle in work and earn bigger bigger money, again sampai mati.

Well-planned life? Yes alhamdulillah, I’m one of them. Plain and easy. Nothing to dazzle people at all.

I talked to my husband and asked, “Have you ever thought to quit the job, migrate to other country and start a new life?”

He said that his friend once did that. I’m not sure to which country, but he ended up back in Malaysia and continues working as engineer. I have a colleague who’s doing that thing too. He is an excellent employee, but he gave up his job during he’s still on top of it, (he himself and his girlfriend actually!) migrated to NZ. He gave himself 6 months, if it wasn’t good, he’ll get back to Malaysia for good. So he started his difficult life there, migrating from north to the south, east to west of NZ and living their life there as harvester, ‘pemetik epal and anggur’. From a guy who used to build a computer system in the lab, to a guy working in a farm, interesting, no?

After six months, life still not that good and below their expectation, and their Visa expired; they went back to Malaysia and get a job at another big company, continue working as engineer. Both of our friends flunk at another country but precious experience gained, and that’s something really worth a try!

So, are you daring enough to risk your life? I would, if only I’m not married yet or this company offers sabbatical (still in the safe mode kan?). Hmmmm. People say, resign when you’re at the top of your career, then you’ll make yourself a legacy, just like Tun Mahathir.

Kuching: Good food at a Good Place, ALL in one good Day.

I was in Kuching at the end of 2010 and early 2011. Before my return, I've promised myself that i will never miss the good food there as I've been craving for them, since my last return. My first day in Kuching started with a morning walk at Waterfront with my dad and followed by scrumptious breakfast at Kopi O Corner. Laksa Sarawak is a great way to start my day, followed by Mee Kolok! What a superb dishes with a nice ambience.

And my third day was filled by food, delicious food. I have a reunion with my buddies, the Powerpuff Girls and I've been harassing Aida's entry every time she reviewed and posted the photos from Dellize, a new hot spot opened in Kuching.

1. Dellize

Upon our arrival, we took out the camera from our handbags and started clicking the shutter. The food, I mean pastries at the display rack was definitely voluptuous, even we haven't tasted it. See your self, feast your eyes. Mouth watering, no?

They were all yummies, heavenly yummies! And to add more joy to our day, the meals cost us farrrrrrr cheaper than the expected. Highly recommended place, and don't be surprise when the waiter hand over the bill. Murah!

2. Kim Bay, The Spring

After bloating our stomach with meals at Dellize, we went off to The Spring, ~~your one and only source of MAC~~ just to fill the time and jalan-jalan. Window shopping, gossiping and outfit trying-that were our activities when suddenly Aida said she was craving for Boiled Coke with Lemon and Ginger! Azza and I were just "BOILED COKE????" sambil melangkah masuk ke Kim Bay.

Yes, it's a canned coca cola that was boiled on fire with ginger and lemon. Dare to try? Refreshing drink, with a light taste of ginger and awakening lemon, ~~to make you fart all day~~. Haha.

I go for Purple's Dream drink, and Portuguese Tart that i miss so much! KFC tried to produce this last month, but it was sucked!

Then we I have a bowl of porridge with shredded chicken and century egg. Yummy! Best porridge ever, better than McD's. And now when I'm back in Kulim, i'm craving for Kim Bay's chicken porridge, every morning!

3. Lung Leong Seafood, Top Spot Kuching.

We had our small family dinner, together with my sister's fiancée. Our Muslim Seafood stall that we usually dine in was closed on that day, so my father opt for this. Eating Chinese style seafood in Kuching is definitely a MUST, in term of the price and wonderful taste. Nyummm!

Review: my Reception Wedding Dress

Sorry to take a very long time to review on my wedding dress. Aina@Mrs Qimie, anonymous and anyone else yang dah lamaaaaa gila tanya, hope this entry fulfills your request. =)

My wedding dress was mend by 2 Chinese lady, an Indian guy and touched up finishing by my Mum. Not a designer, but the tailoring was superbbb! Even my mum and sisters dekat Sarawak pon I suruh hantar baju kat sini. The boutique of Classic One in Kulim was run by Liza, who is also responsible in designing my dress. She's the one who give the idea of the veryyyy long and big train, and the big PINK bow at my back. Most of her ideas were inspired by the HK brides, therefore my dress is quite English-ish as I prefer something different than that long kebaya.

While we're discussing, Elline her partner sketched the design and get the measuring. She also did all the material cut, the important step in order to get the lace at the right place. Then, all the pieces of fabric will be send to an unknown Indian guy who is responsible for the patches and sewing.

I sent them the material end of February and prefer it to be done by April. Surprisingly, they managed to complete the dress in March! Mereka tak sabar ke I yang tak sabar? ;p

This is the dress without a beading, yet.

I love the patched roses at the waist!

The cute lace stripes. Initially the heavy beaded lace stripes was the plan, tapi mahal gila kot for this 4m train.

And the big bow at the back. It was hooked to the dress.

Then later, I just asked my mum to do the finishing, add beading s for extra. Classing One can do it as well, but I just want to reduce the cost. Thanks to my mum, siap tangan seliuh sebab kena timpa patung tempat gantung baju, and that takes 2 months!

Terpaksa di lipat dua sebab terlalu panjang.

The bottom of the dress

The crystals on the dress was bought when my bestie, Aanna and I went to Sabah for the bachelorette vacation in April. It costs me a lot though, for just a minor part of the dress.

This is the details on the bow. Zoom the photos, then you can see how it was hooked to my dress. 5 hooks in total.

And these poses are purposely done to show off the bow.

I purposely request the huge train just because I want to pose like this, badly! Mesti posing macam ni dekat tangga kaca di library itu, nekad dari dulu lagi. =)

And now, the dress is opened for sale. I prefer to sell it to the bridal boutique. Mail me for the price and it comes with the groom's suit as well. =)

Welcoming 2011

I'm now in Kuching, husband-less, actually since last Thursday. Back for my sister's engagement (the review will follow) and for the food hunting. I just realized I didn’t do any 2010 wrap up and life plan for 2011.

Let's review my plan list for 2010. Hmm where is it? Tak pernah nak re-read sepanjang 2010 lepas.

1: Vacation with friends- April! -DONE

2: Getting married at 25! =) Upcoming July, insya allah.- DONE, alhamdulillah, we're happily married!

3: Moving to our sweet Casa Prima. -Cancelled. Kekasyfi Hati change job from Penang to Kulim, so we decided to rent out this apartment.

4: Change to a new job role which I can enjoy more. -DONE, accidentally. Lost the previous job due to the long term impact of 2008 economy crisis, but being offered a job which I always want to do before.

5: Prepare for the 2011 must do list. Yes, my partner and I always plan a year ahead as we believe everything needs money. -DONE planning, work in progress.

Seems 2010 has been VERY kind to me, alhamdulillah. Looking forward to 2011 and my plan would be

1.Everything would be better than 2010.

2.Spend less, earn more!

3.Prepare for 2012 must do list. There're two things in my mind, aminn. ;p

And again,

Hope everything goes well. Manusia hanya merancang, Tuhan yang menentukan. Allah always know what's the best for us.

Moose's wedding

Ok, I supposed to go to Moose's wedding, right after attending Sarah's. We were on our way to her house when suddenly we sesat and could not find the track. Actually tak sesat, just tak sure kenapa tak jumpa-jumpa lagi landmark dekat map tu, padahal jauh lagi ke hadapan.

So dipendekkan cerita, Kekasyfi Hati tiba-tiba perlu singgah ke toilet dengan urgent so we just dropped by at Masjid Hijau kat Kangar sana. While waiting for him, I was googling the right way to Moose's place when I suddenly I saw a couple of bride and groom doing outdoor photoshoot at the masjid.

I noticed that the bride's bouquet was yellow-whitish and they were posing like a blogger-bride-pose. (You CAN TELL whether that bride is a blogger cum blog reader, or not kan?) I was like, 'Moose ke tu ek?' and sebab tak nampak sangat muka, I pun ragu-ragu whether it was her or not.

Bila Kekasyfi Hati selesai urusan di sana, I asked him to tanya Jalan ke address ke rumah Moose kat couple tadi. Moose dengan semangatnya (ampun Moose!) bagi direction and suddenly my husband tanya, "Pengantin ni nama ape ye?" Haha. And she answered and the rest were history.

Funny gila! What a coincidence, and after jumpa and amik gambar, kami tak jadi g kenduri sebab dah jumpa pengantin and tak mahu sesat lagi. Funny, seriously funny~

Congrats to both of them! Moose, you're the most energetic bride I ever met. Energetic and happy. =)

I was in Perlis on last Christmas to attend Sarah's and Moose's wedding. It was my first time ever to attend blogger's wedding and it excites me, but not my Kekasyfi Hati. He was asking me all the time, "kenal ke orang tu?" "boley ke pergi" and bla bla bla. We departed from Kulim quite late and we reached Perlis at 3pm. With my camera's charger was nowhere to be seen, I dropped by at Aanna's crib to borrow hers.

When we reached Ocean Glow, we were amazed with the blue and green crowds, just like the attire theme that Sarah stated in her wedding card. The guests were sporting enough and your truly also wear a green baju kurung on that day. Green ok, untung sapa yang berjaya tengok saya pakai hijau. =D ~~my least fav.~~

We walked along the walkaway to the Ocean Glow and notice the paper lantern hanging on top of us. Cantikk and gigih la you Sarah! Loveeee themmmm to the max~

We were welcomed with the gamelan music and sangat gemersik . And then we spotted Sarah and her husband tengah mingled with the guess. Again, Kekasyfi kept on tanya I, "kenal ke? Kenal ke?" Haha. Her dress caught my eyes, lovely!

And we greeted her , congratulate her. She is a super nice lady!!! Baik hati sangat-sangat,even my husband said so. Borak-borak sikit, selamba I tanya baju dia dari mana, (coz it was so lovely!) amik gambar, and she asked us to eat first. So we find our spot and left her to mingle around with other guests.

Before we left, we met the couple again, and dapat rasa kebaikan hati dia lagi. Meet her mum, salam2 and her mum pon super nice! No wonder Sarah pun lovely jugak~ ! Her mum siap cubit2 and usap2 my chubby pipi lagi. Tehee. =)

Congratulations Sarah and partner for the wedding. Sumpah everything was perfect as planned and everyone said so. What a beautiful wedding!

Beeeeen soooo busy with work these days. WORK WORK WORK, mimpi malam pun WORK lagi. *Sigh*

-Xerra dah lama menghilangkan diri. 2 hari lepas Zerro balik, Xerra dah tak brani nak masuk area pondok kami dah. Berkuasa gila Zerro sampai boley takutkan kucing-kucing lain. Bukan Xerra sorang, Tom the cat of previous tenant pon tak berani melintas depan rumah dah bila Zerro ada. Maybe die dah dihalau Zerro suruh balik ke rumah tuan die rasanya.

Zerro sebelum ni tido dalam rumah sebab kalau die tdo luar, die selsema. Tapiiii sebab die buat hal dengan mengencing atas baju-baju tuan nya yang tidak berlipat, maka dia didendaa sampai tak berani nak masuk rumah. pity him, tapi lucu ok. Semalam tempoh denda die dah tamat, then kami try angkat dia masuk rumah. Die punya lah takmo masuk siap sangkutkan tangan kat pagar. Penat kami tarik nak bawak die masuk. Hihi.

1. i got problem to upload photos to this blog. the error asyik pop-out kata "your picasa web album has reached its limit, click here to purchase more storage." duhh? how am i gonna blog da? nak tulis banyak2 bahaya, kata-kata i ni sometimes tajam jugak, ramai yang terasa naayaaa. so the best way is upload banyak gambar, so that tak sape terasa sgt. and paling penting, kalo xleh upload gambar, camne nak buat WORDLESS WEDNESDAY, MUNCHY MONDAY? 2. Anyone could recommend the best health insurance policy? banyak sangat di luar sana, sampai x larat nk dgr benefits nye. I'm open to any iNsurance company, aslOng mmberi manfaat kepada pelanggannya. ok, sekian kamsahamida~

Penang Heritage Trail Version 1

As I mentioned before, last Monday we HELD a year end event for my previous department. I love the social job, and I'm willingly to be part of the community to organize the event.

As the year end dinner is too common, we decided to have something different this year. Therefore a good breakfast and lunch buffets, a heritage trail and cool lucky draw gifts are definitely an option for us.

I was a little late for the buffet breakfast as Kekasyfi Hati's phone alarm dysfunction in the morning. Ralat gila rasa, bukan rezeki. I arrived late and just ate, not enjoying my breakfast. T_T. I super love morning breakfast at hotels though, seriously it's the last thing I would ever skip. Dah nama pun bukan rezeki, pasrah.

After breakfast, we went on a trishaw ride, and visited a few heritage places in Penang. City Hall, Fort Cornwallis, Clock Tower and Museum Peranakan. The trishaw ride was FUN ok! I never thought it would be that exciting. With the friendly uncle who explained some history during our ride, with people watching and look at you sitting on the trishaw, and with my trishaw partner and I waived to all those people passing by and greet the tourists. Extremely FUN, enough said.

Our first destination was the City Hall Penang. Don't ever ask me the history of this place, we went there, took some photos and blah.

Very nice place for pre-wedding, in English style.
