Deco Bilik Pengantin

Actually, our initial plan is for not having bilik pengantin during our wedding day nanti. We prefer to have a bilik pengantin at hotel instead, Chinese style sikit. More private and tak de la malu sangat time nak masuk tidur for the first time tue. Besides, kami berdua both stay and work in Penang and jarang balik, so no point nak buat bilik pengantin.

But my abah insisted jugak nak buat bilik. I told him, boleh, tapi dia sponsor semua. Luckily he agreed so I serahkan everything-design, color, deco, accessories to my abah and my sister. Sekarang that room tengah di renovate and almost siap, tapi I tak boleh nak imagine how 's it look sebab none of my siblings willing to share the photos with me. =( Surprise la konon.  Tapi I trust them 100% la, so no worries.

My expectation is quite high. I just hope the room would turn out to be like this. *Berangan mode*

This is my favorite! Love it so much. 

 Oh ya, during a session with Eric Leong (from Deco Bersama Eric)  that I attended last month, the famous interior designer in Malaysia, he did share some useful tips on how to decorate the house-living room, kitchen, master bedroom and etc. Some important notes that I captured was:

-Select a feature wall in every space of the house. Paint it with your favorite color or darker tone from others. This wall will be the main focus and highlighted from others.  The best choice would be the first wall that you see whenever you open the door.

-Purple is the most romantic and mysterious color. Very suitable for bedroom.

-Don’t buy oversized and bulky furniture even they offered the lowest price IF your house is not spacious enough.  Jangan tamak.

Banyak lagi yang Eric shared, tapi malas nak taip panjang2. Okay, happy decorating. Tak sabar nak tengok bilik pengantin kami plak. =S
